Before you bid, make sure you understand the following:

Deposit
Upon making payment we require a $50 security deposit which will be refunded in full after the storage unit is fully vacated and clean.

Payment
Must be received in full within 24 hours of auction close. Call the number above to arrange payment and pickup. We accept cash or credit card in person only.

Pickup
Contents must be picked up ENTIRELY. Vacate storage unit completely, within 48 hours of auction close. If ANY contents are left behind, fees will be applied accordingly.

Know which unit you are bidding on
If you win an auction, make certain you know which unit you won. This number is will be in the title of each auction listing and in the body of the ad. 

Know your Username before going to pay
When you go to pay and pickup your purchased contents, you must be able to tell the storage facility manager what your Username is to verify your account and the unit you purchased. Your Username is what you choose upon Registration and what you Sign In with.

What happens if I win? What do I do, who do I pay?

When the auction closes, you will be immediately notifed by email if you won the auction in subject.

Payment for the items purchased will be given directly to the seller (at the physical location shown above), either cash or money order in person only. 

An AA Alpine Self Storage location manager will call you shortly after the auction closes, but you are welcome to call the manager at the phone number specified above to confirm payment and pickup.

Contents need to be vacated within 48 hours of auction close. Can't get there by then? Please call the office number above to make special arrangements.

The Sealed Online Bids' 10% Buyer Fee is separate and in-addition-to the purchase price of the storage unit itself. This can be paid through your credit card on file, or by PayPal under Account / Billing Details. Upon auction close, you will receive a Buyer Fee Notification email which will outline the balance due and how to make the payment. If you do not submit payment, our system automatically processes your credit card for any unpaid balances, on the 1st and 15th of the month.

Notice to Buyers - This is to inform the buyers prior to the sale that:

AA Alpine Storage reserves the right to end an auction at any time during the bidding period. By law, if a customer pays the outstanding balance up to the close of auction, the auction must be removed. 

By placing a bid, the buyer is entering into a legally-binding contract. If the winning buyer does not honor the bid and does not pay for the purchased contents within 24 hours of the auction ending, fees will apply, up to value of the bid placed.

AA Alpine Storage reserves the right to cancel any sale if the bids are deemed unreasonable.

Buyer acknowledges that he or she is bidding on all items within the unit and all items must be removed and the unit must be cleaned. In the event that Buyer does not remove all items or does not leave the unit clean, AA Alpine Storage may charge the Buyer a minimum of $100 and its costs in removing such items and/or cleaning the unit. 

Buyer must present a government issued photo ID to AA Alpine Storage upon retrieval of the purchased contents.

When the Buyer has won the unit he/she must pay using cash or credit card upon conclusion of the auction at the facility where the unit is located at.  AA Alpine Storage will collect the amount of the bid and unless a valid reseller certificate is provided sales tax will also be collected. SealedOnlineBids.com has a surcharge percentage of 10% that they will collect for the payment method you have on file with them. AA Alpine Storage shall furnish the Buyer with receipt upon payment of the unit.

The Buyer must remove all goods within forty-eight (48) hour from the close of the auction or the goods will become the property of AA Alpine Storage.  To extend this deadline, the Buyer may sign a lease agreement for said unit, and pay the street rate plus all other fees associated with the rental in full. Failure to remove all goods or sign a lease will result in Buyer incurring a disposal fee of no less than $100. Buyer is responsible for securing the unit for the 48-hour period. 

It is the Buyer's responsibility to immediately return all personal property, papers, photos, legal documents, tax returns, bank statements, yearbooks, etc. to AA Alpine Storage for return to the customer in the future.

The Buyer acknowledges that in certain circumstances AA Alpine Storage may contact the Buyer to request that certain items be purchased back in order to prevent any court action with said customer, the Buyer also agrees to sell to AA Alpine Storage such items for (a) the cost at which Buyer purchased such items plus (b) any reasonable actual costs incurred by Buyer in connection with such items.

This agreement pertains to this and all future sales this Buyer attends with any AA Alpine Storage facility at SealedOnlineBids.com. 

AA Alpine Storage reserves the right to refuse bids to any Buyer at future auctions for any reason including but not limited to failure to follow these rules or any other unacceptable behavior during the auction process.
